edcahoots' Services

CONSULTATION
The educational therapy process begins with a parent consultation. During the consultation, we review your child’s educational and developmental history, including psycho-educational testing.

STUDENT ASSESSMENT
Informal and formal measures are used to gain information about your child’s strengths and challenges. The data collected from the consultation and assessment processes are used to establish educational and psychological treatment goals for educational therapy.

THERAPY SESSIONS
We work with clients in a one-to-one environment and utilize academic and game-based interventions and techniques to address students’ weaknesses in learning and functioning. We capitalize on individual strengths to foster autonomous learning, improved self-esteem, and learning enjoyment.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
We act as the case manager for clients by collaborating with schools and allied professionals, which allows us to better serve each client's needs. We are available for classroom observations, meetings with teachers or parents, parent-teacher conferences, and correspondence with allied professionals.
