David Chavez is an Educational Therapist/Professional and passionate educator who has dedicated more than 15 years to making a positive impact on the lives of his students. With experience in both the private school sector and public education, David has a rich background in teaching students with learning differences. He is a Wilson-trained provider who received his Master's degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Educational Therapy from California State University, Northridge, as well as his Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development.
David's journey as a student was marked by challenges and obstacles, instilling in him a deep empathy for the struggles many students with learning differences face. His experience fuels his commitment to helping his students reach their true potential - and he does this by empowering them, boosting their self-confidence, and overall providing the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
Beyond teaching, David finds joy in spending quality time with his family of five, creating memories through activities such as playing chess, enjoying movie nights, reading stories, watching sports, barbecues, and more. For him, family time is a treasure to be cherished and thoroughly enjoyed.
